Saxton's Strong Week Earns DIV II Trophy Monday, December 17th , 2046 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Division 2 Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Ben Saxton for his great week at the plate. The Oklahoma State University shortstop took home the trophy by banging out 10 hits in 22 at-bats for a .455 batting average, driving in 8 runs and scoring 4 times. Thus far this year Saxton is batting .322 with 24 home runs, 72 RBIs and 64 runs scored. |
