Cabrera Shuts Out Fighting Illini Monday, December 31st , 2046 Alberto Cabrera of the University of Michigan Wolverines permitted 3 hits, walked 1 and fanned 4 during the 5-0 shutout win over the University of Illinois Fighting Illini at Ray Fisher Stadium today. "I told him, 'You did good today,'" said University of Michigan manager Jeff Jones III. "And I told him he'd better do good again next week." On his stats sheet this season Cabrera shows a 5-8 record, 18 starts, 118.2 innings, 50 strikeouts and a 3.41 ERA. |
