The Detroit first baseman had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Paris Cubs, leading his club to victory, 11-3. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Garza said later." Franklin Garza singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and struck out in the 9th. This season Garza has hit at a .154 clip and produced 17 runs batted in, 2 home runs and 23 runs. |
