Flames Get Zip in 19-0 Loss to Cooper Tuesday, September 11th , 2046 Chad Cooper of the Oakland Oaks shut out the Calgary Flames, 19-0, on 5 hits. He rang up 13 strikeouts and walked 1. "He's got great stuff and good movement," Calgary manager Johnny Cueto said after the game. "He threw a lot of breaking balls. He made adjustments. We just couldn't figure him out today." To date this year Cooper has compiled a 12-1 mark with a 1.17 ERA in 19 starts. |
