Trois-Riveres Shuts Out Chester, 11-0
Friday, September 14th , 2046
Trois-Riveres Aigles hurler Adam Householder was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Chester Pirates, shutting them out 11-0 on 1 hit.
"Adam was very aggressive tonight," Trois-Riveres manager Joel Capote said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
Through 9 innings, Householder tallied 20 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk.
"He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Chris Peterson said. "Householder has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
This year Householder has a 10-4 mark in 19 starts with a 3.18 ERA. He has given up 86 hits in 130.1 innings, struck out 167 and issued 58 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .184 batting average against him.
