Red-Hot Bat: Luna Collects Cycle Monday, September 17th , 2046 Eddie Luna stole the headlines today, hitting for the cycle in the Victoria Capitals' 17-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche. "Well that was fun, huh?" he said, smiling, after the game. His 5 hits got the Capitals offense going and his 5 runs batted in and 3 runs scored helped to seal the verdict. Eddie Luna doubled in the 2nd, tripled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Nick Martin in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year Luna has hit at a .329 clip with 105 hits, 25 home runs, 88 RBIs and 76 runs scored. |
