Asadov Cracks 3 HR for Rox Tuesday, September 18th , 2046 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Bakhtiar Asadov did today at Brockton Fields, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 12-2. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Asadov said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Brockton Rox left fielder blistered the York Revolution for 3 hits, batted in 5 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," York manager Collin Butkiewicz said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Bakhtiar Asadov flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jonathan Monroy in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Travis Hahn in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Tim Starks in the 8th. In 95 games this season Asadov has batted at a .320 pace with 106 hits and 20 home runs. |
