In a strong performance, the 17-year-old Herrera gave up 4 hits in his 8 innings of work and issued 1 walk. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my changeup was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." In 14 starts this season Herrera has recorded a 5-2 record and a 2.67 ERA. |
