West Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times

Fans seated in the bleacher section at Ballpark of Madison were taking cover all day long as Chris West zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power.
The big game from the Kelowna first baseman helped the Heat take the victory, 19-8, over the Madison Brewers.
"I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing."
For the game, he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 8 and scored 3 runs.
Chris West grounded out in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jon Ortiz in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Todd Massad in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Todd Massad in the 9th.
In the current season, West has put up a .287 batting average with 54 hits, 11 home runs, 41 runs batted in and scored 42 runs.
