MacLeod Cracks 3 HR for Flames Friday, September 28th , 2046 Whatever Mike MacLeod ate for breakfast before his game against the Madison Brewers today, it gave him some impressive power. The Calgary third baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Ballpark of Madison. His home run barrage led the Flames to take the 6-0 victory over the Brewers. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-3, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. Mike MacLeod walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Hiroshi Matsuda in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Hiroshi Matsuda in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jon Ortiz in the 7th and walked in the 9th. On the year MacLeod is hitting .295 with 49 hits, 26 home runs, 61 RBIs, .430 OBP and has scored 44 runs. |
