Hits Blitz for Cardinals Ready Sunday, September 30th , 2046 Today at Columbus Baseball Complex, Hamilton Cardinals first baseman J.T. Ready accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Cardinals to a 22-8 win over the Columbus Reds. In a standout performance, Ready laced 4 hits in 7 at-bats and had 9 runs batted in. "I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Ready told reporters. J.T. Ready struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jay Harrison in the 7th, struck out in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. For the year Ready has hit .252 with 16 home runs, 64 RBIs and scored 58 runs. |
