Gommers Sizzles -- Smokes Pirates for 5 Hits Tuesday, October 2nd , 2046 Thanks to Maup Gommers and his big bat, the Blue Crabs derailed the Chester Pirates 8-4 today at The Aquarium. The Southern Maryland third baseman had a standout game with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Maup Gommers singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. In the 2046 season Gommers is hitting .382 with 19 home runs. |
