Trois-Riveres Southpaw Tosses 8-0 Shutout Monday, October 8th , 2046 18-year-old Trois-Riveres Aigles pitcher Jake Fields had a strong outing against the Niagara Falls Phantoms at Trois-Riveres Community Center today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 5 in the 8-0 win and walked 4 while surrendering 2 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. So far in 23 appearances this season, Fields has recorded 12 wins and sustained 6 losses. He has pitched 158.2 innings, yielded 103 hits, fanned 191 and has a 3.46 ERA. |
