Meade Whiffs 15, Hamilton Tops Paris Monday, October 8th , 2046 Jason Meade of the Hamilton Cardinals put on a pitching clinic today at Stoney Creek Stadium as he struck out 15 Paris Cubs in a 14-0 victory. Meade was simply magnificent as he held the Cubs to no hits. He walked 3. "I felt okay at the beginning," Meade said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Meade's performance, Cardinals manager Nelson Boche shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." This season to date Meade has a record of 6 wins and 2 losses with a 1.88 ERA, has appeared in 20 games and struck out 93 in 57.1 innings. |
