Round 1 Goes the Distance, Tijuana Prevails

Depending on your loyalties, the Round 1 was either thrilling or heartbreaking.
The series went down to its final game, with the Tijuana Toros and the Amarillo ThunderHeads giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Toros came out on top, winning 4-3 at Ballpark of Amarillo today to take the series 4-3.
"We're lucky to be going into the Quarter-Finals," said Tijuana pitcher Chad Rojas. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."
Rojas earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .400 average, with 3 home runs, 8 RBI and 7 runs scored.
The Quarter-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
