Oakland Win Quarter-Finals Tuesday, October 30th , 2046 The Oakland Oaks said they felt the Quarter-Finals with the Tijuana Toros would go the distance. But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Oakland advanced to the Semi-Finals with a 3-1 score, to clinch the series 4-1 at Oakland Oaks Grounds. "Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Chris Temple, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the World Series." For the series, Temple hit .400 with a .455 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 4 runs.
