Quarter-Finals Goes the Distance, Southern Maryland Prevails Thursday, November 1st , 2046 A classic and dramatic Quarter-Finals has wrapped up, with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs outlasting the York Revolution to advance to the Semi-Finals. Southern Maryland won the final game by a score of 8-7 and took the series 4-3. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Southern Maryland right fielder Jonathan Mendoza, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Mendoza hit .333 with a .355 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Semi-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Quarter-Finals finishes. |
