Brian Trejo Top EL Hurler Saturday, December 1st , 2046 Brian Trejo of the Columbus Reds outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 2046 Eastern League Pitcher of the Year Award. During his remarkable year Trejo posted a 19-7 record in 27 starts. In 230 innings he yielded 188 hits and 32 walks while striking out 265 and compiling a fine 1.80 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Eduardo Lopez of the Winnipeg Goldeyes finished second in voting, while Shalom Diender of the London Majors finished third.
