Farren Named 2046 EL Most Valuable Player Award Winner

Eric Farren took Pioneer Baseball League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the York Revolution star has been named the 2046 Eastern League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the second baseman.
On the season he compiled a .361 batting average to go with a .487 on-base percentage. The native of Memphis, Tennessee also added 22 doubles, 5 triples, 51 home runs, 150 RBIs and 124 runs scored.
He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 30. Brian Trejo of the Columbus Reds finished second in voting with 15 first place votes, while Julio Sandoval of the Hamilton Cardinals finished third.
