Season Done for Dempsey Monday, October 29th , 2046 Mike Dempsey had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the University of Maine medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The University of Maine starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. |
