Forbes Wins ORI Player of the Week Honors Monday, December 10th , 2046 A hot-hitting week got Danny Forbes the Division 1 Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The University of Nebraska third baseman slammed them for a .440 average, 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and scored 6 runs. In the postgame press conference, Forbes shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." So far this year Forbes is batting .277 with 2 home runs. |
