Kuehn Slaps 5 Hits Monday, December 10th , 2046 It was a magical day at the plate for University of Minnesota Golden Gophers catcher Marty Kuehn. The 17-year-old Kuehn helped lift University of Minnesota to a 22-2 win over the Mississippi State University Bulldogs today at U.S. Bank Stadium . Kuehn smacked 5 hits in 7 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Marty Kuehn struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th. This season Kuehn is batting .242 with 44 hits, 5 home runs, 24 RBIs, .343 OBP and has scored 22 runs. |
