Turley No-Hits Twins
|
Jason Turley was untouchable today at Baseball City Complex, displaying a good fastball and wicked breaking balls in his 4-0 win against the Elizabethton Twins. The Baltimore (APP) hurler did not allow a single hit, fanning 11 while walking 2.
"This is great," Turley told reporters after the game. "Every pitcher wants a no-hitter. I just wanted the win, but the no-hitter is a little extra icing on the victory cake."
This season Turley has compiled a 11-2 mark with a 2.52 ERA.
