No matter what the Chester Pirates threw at him today, Mark Noftall hit it. He easily handled Pirates pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Majors to a 9-3 triumph at Chester Ballpark.
"The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.
Told of Noftall's quip, Pirates skipper Chris Peterson said he "would take him up on that next time."
Mark Noftall singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Juan Hernandez in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Juan Hernandez in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Francisco Santos in the 8th.
