Huff Swings for the Cycle Thursday, May 2nd , 2047 Justin Huff had a banner day at the plate today, stringing together all four legs of the cycle as the New Orleans Zephyrs beat the Iowa Cubs, 8-2. Huff drilled 4 hits in 5 at-bats, collecting 6 runs batted in and scoring 2 runs to capture the win for New Orleans. "I was fortunate to see some good pitches and I was fortunate to be able to make the most of them," he said later. "It was a good day for us." Justin Huff hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Julio Arteaga in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. In 24 games this season Huff has batted at a .270 pace with 24 hits and 3 home runs. |
