Syracuse Loses Whitenack for Season Wednesday, July 10th , 2047 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Syracuse's Kevin Whitenack to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 07/08/2047 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Whitenack said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Whitenack has been out of action since he suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament. This year Whitenack has hit at a .200 pace and produced 10 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 10 runs. |
