Park Twirls 10-0 Shutout Monday, July 15th , 2047 In an outstanding mound performance, Gwinnett Braves starter Chong-hun Park fired a complete-game shutout against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Security Service Field today. Park was the key to the Braves's 10-0 win. The 33-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 9 hits and no walks he allowed. "9 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." This year his stats show Park has 6 saves in 10 relief appearances with a 7-1 record and 2.59 ERA. |
