Redbirds Get No Resistance from Dodgers in 12-0 Beat-Down Monday, July 22nd , 2047 Keith Anter kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Memphis Redbirds were all smiles after winning 12-0 against the Oklahoma City Dodgers at AutoZone Park today. The right-handed Anter gave up no runs in his start, permitted 7 hits and had 12 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Anter said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." This year Anter has made 16 starts, thrown 95.2 innings, fanned 121 batters and walked 33. His won-lost record is 7-4 with a 3.67 ERA. |
