Huber Whips Salt Lake, 6-0 Tuesday, July 30th , 2047 Fred Huber had the Salt Lake Bees dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 6-0 shutout performance for the Pawtucket Red Sox. He gave up 2 hits, issued 2 walks and had 6 strikeouts. Salt Lake hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager Bryan Henry said. "We just never figured him out." This season Huber has 5 wins and 4 losses and a 3.63 ERA. |
