Gwinnett Blanks Chihuahuas, Park at His Best Monday, August 12th , 2047 In an outstanding mound performance, Gwinnett Braves starter Chong-hun Park fired a complete-game shutout against the El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University park today. Park was the key to the Braves's 7-0 win. The 33-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and no walks he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." This season Park has compiled a 10-2 mark with a 2.45 ERA in 16 starts. |
