Shank Magic in 4-0 Shutout Monday, August 26th , 2047 Scott Shank kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Durham Bulls were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Rochester Red Wings at Durham Bulls Athletic Park today. The right-handed Shank gave up no runs in his start, permitted 1 hit and had 10 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Shank said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." This season Shank has compiled a 7-8 mark with a 4.09 ERA in 25 starts. |
