Rowdy Players Suspended by League Tuesday, September 3rd , 2047 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Omaha-Tacoma contest at Werner Park. The Storm Chasers Walt Cogswell and the Rainiers Tyler Rayner will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Cogswell is swinging the bat at a .257 rate with 99 hits in 385 at-bats. To date he has hit 9 home runs, scored 56 runs and driven in 58. This season Rayner has made 44 relief appearances and saved 0 games. His record is 3-2 with 57 strikeouts in 57 innings with a 3.47 ERA. |
