Grizzlies No Match for Purvis, Express in 20-0 Thumping Tuesday, September 3rd , 2047 Round Rock Express hurler Zach Purvis logged a 4-hit, complete game shutout over the Grizzlies, stopping them 20-0 at Dell Diamond today. "I felt great out there," Purvis said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 10 strikeouts and gave up no walks in the performance. In season stats Purvis shows a 9-6 record in 20 games, 138.2 innings, 143 strikeouts and a 3.12 ERA. |
