AL Star of the Week Honored Monday, September 9th , 2047 Brandon O'Malley demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the American League Player of the Week Award. The Toledo center fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .542 average (13-for-24) with no home runs and 3 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year O'Malley is batting .282 with 66 hits, 3 home runs, 28 RBIs, 26 walks, .352 OBP and has scored 31 runs. |
