Playoffs Won't Happen for Tides Sunday, September 15th , 2047 The Norfolk Tides will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2047 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Norfolk was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Norfolk last appeared in the postseason in 2041. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 21 times in their 32 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Tides have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
