Zephyrs Cruise to Division Championship with Sweep Monday, September 30th , 2047 It was a sweet sweep for the New Orleans Zephyrs as they eased past the Louisville Bats to advance to the Division Championship. New Orleans won the final game by a 11-1 count and the series 2-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Jack Power, who was named series MVP. For the series, Power hit .571 with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
