Bulls Dominate, Sweep Wildcard Series Tuesday, October 1st , 2047 With a 5-3 win to wrap up the series at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, the Durham Bulls have eliminated the Columbus Clippers in the Wildcard Series and move on to the Division Championship. Durham controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 2-0 sweep. Kevin Benfield led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .625 batting average, along with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 0 RBI and scored 1 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
