Buffalo Moves on to World Series Thursday, October 17th , 2047 Fans of the Round Rock Express groaned when Brock Van Gilder stepped up to the plate in the Conference Championship. And for good reason too, as the Buffalo Bisons player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Express. The series was clinched tonight at Coca-Cola Field, with Buffalo coming out on top 5-4 in the deciding game. Van Gilder's strong series included a .389 batting average, with a .450 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 4 runs.
