Yerzy of Bisons Honored, AL's Best Manager Sunday, November 10th , 2047 Buffalo Bisons field manager Andrew Yerzy has brought a winning attitude to the team and the city. His no-nonsense approach, work ethic and baseball experience have paved the way for success. This season the Bisons parlayed his managerial skills and some talented ballplayers into a first place spot in the American League East Division standings. Buffalo finished the year with a 96-54 record. To everybody's delight Yerzy was voted the 2047 American League Manager of the Year by the baseball writers. "Mr. Yerzy doesn't take any nonsense. If you aren't doing your job, he's not afraid to call you on it," noted one of his ballplayers. "But the team wouldn't want to play for anyone else. He's tough, demanding, but he treats everyone fairly and doesn't play favorites. Nobody gets pampered on his ballclub." |
