Frisco Shuts Out Chattanooga, 11-0 Friday, June 28th , 2047 In an impressive outing, Pete Rance whitewashed the Chattanooga Lookouts 11-0. "I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Rance, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion. "It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took." The Frisco hurler held Chattanooga scoreless, allowed 4 hits, chalked up 6 strikeouts and yielded no walks. For the season Rance has no saves, tossed 53.1 innings, fanned 45 batters and produced an ERA of 1.52. He has also been credited with 4 wins and 1 loss. |
