Super Swinger -- Graham Slams 5 Hits Tuesday, July 2nd , 2047 Jacksonville first baseman Len Graham had a big day at Smokies Park today against the Tennessee Smokies. The 24-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Suns to a 6-1 triumph over Tennessee. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Graham said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Len Graham singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. Graham on the season is hitting .223 with 2 home runs. His stats include 26 RBIs and 20 runs scored. |
