Chmieleski Goes 5-for-6 Sunday, July 28th , 2047 It was a big day for Zach Chmieleski and he brought the Altoona Curve along for the ride. Chmieleski led his club to a 9-6 victory over the Harrisburg Senators today at FNB Field, smoking Harrisburg pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 23-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Zach Chmieleski singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit an RBI double in the 13th. This year Chmieleski is batting .224 with 4 home runs. |
