Tennessee First Baseman Nets NL Award Monday, August 5th , 2047 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Brad Santanello was rewarded with the National League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Tennessee Smokies first baseman hit .444 while collecting 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. To date, Santanello has collected 115 hits for a .306 average.
