Rojas Belts 3 HR Against Erie
Monday, August 5th , 2047
It was a good day for the Bowie Baysox and an exceptional one for Raul Rojas. The 30-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Baysox beat the Erie SeaWolves 5-0 at Prince George's Stadium.
"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Rojas said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."
For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 3 runs and smacked 4 hits in 4 at-bats.
Raul Rojas hit a solo-shot off Ben Saunders in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Ben Saunders in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Cameron Maxwell in the 8th.
So far this season Rojas has hit .260 with 10 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 18 times.
