American League Selects Best Performer Monday, August 19th , 2047 Dan Morataya demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the American League Player of the Week Award. The Chattanooga left fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .421 average (8-for-19) with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season Morataya has 22 home runs and a .255 batting average. |
