Jackson Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Saturday, August 31st , 2047 After spending most of the season well back of the division leaders, the Jackson Generals made it official today, becoming mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. Jackson last appeared in the postseason in 2044. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 17 times in their 32 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Generals have only made the playoffs once. Jackson last won the World Series in 2029. |
