Trenton Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, September 2nd , 2047 The Trenton Thunder certainly didn't impress many fans this with their play on the field. And now there is no hope of turning a dismal season around -- the team was officially knocked out of playoff contention today. The Thunder have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 32 years as a Eastern League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2043. In the last 10 seasons, the Thunder have missed the playoffs 4 times. |
