Montgomery won the final game by a 3-1 score and thus clinched the series 4-2. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Sesto Carpini, who was named series MVP. For the series, Carpini hit .273 with a .360 on-base percentage. He drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.
