RoughRiders, Kidd Stonewall Birmingham, 5-0 Friday, October 11th , 2047 Jeff Kidd of the Frisco RoughRiders humiliated the Birmingham Barons at Dr. Pepper Ballpark today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Birmingham manager Lewis Brinson, after the game. Kidd whiffed 6 and walked 2 in the 5-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Kidd said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." This season Kidd has compiled a 16-3 mark, 2.91 ERA and made 24 starts. |
