Party's Over: Garza Retires in Jacksonville

Alex Garza said this season with the Jacksonville Suns will be his last in professional baseball.
"I'm 36 years old, I think it's time to hang them up," he said. "I've been proud to be a part of this organization and this sport, but it's time to move on."
Taking the hill 199 times in his career, Garza has compiled an ERA of 4.20 with 4 saves. He has tossed 651.2 innings with 357 strikeouts and 172 free passes. Opponents have hit .260 against him. His won-lost record stands at 35-29.
